I. Land levelling
Principle: Small excavator can carry out digging and filling operation on uneven farmland through the coordinated action of its bucket and movable arm. Its tracked travelling device can move steadily in the farmland and adapt to complex terrain.
Operation process: Firstly, the operator will drive the small excavator around the farmland to determine the areas that need to be dug and filled. For high ground, a bucket is used to dig up the soil, which is then transferred to low ground for filling. By repeating this process several times, the surface of the farmland is gradually brought to a relatively level condition. For example, in some newly excavated farmland or farmland where the terrain has been damaged after flooding, the small excavator can quickly level the land to create good conditions for subsequent irrigation and planting.
Second, ditch digging
Principle: The bucket of the small excavator can dig ditches of different shapes and sizes according to the design requirements. It can accurately control the digging depth and width, and can pile up the excavated soil on both sides of the ditch in a suitable position.
Operation process: When digging the irrigation ditch, the operator will set the route and parameters of the ditch according to the irrigation plan of the farmland. Then, the small excavator digs along the predetermined route, first digging out the rough outline of the ditch, and then gradually trimming the slope and bottom flatness of the ditch. For example, in arid areas, deeper and narrower drip irrigation trenches need to be excavated in order to realise water-saving irrigation, and the small excavator is able to perform this fine excavation task well. At the same time, when digging drainage ditches, the ditches can also be dug to the appropriate depth according to the drainage needs of the farmland, to ensure that rainwater can be discharged smoothly and prevent the farmland from waterlogging.
Third, ridge construction
Principle: Use the bulldozing and compaction function of the small excavator to build ridges. It can pile up the soil into a certain shape of ridge, and make the ridge more solid through its own weight and the compaction effect of the bucket.
Operation process: When building a ridge, the small excavator first digs and pushes the nearby soil to the location where the ridge needs to be built, initially forming the shape of the ridge. Then, the operator will drive the small excavator repeatedly on the ridge, using the tracks to compact the soil. During the compaction process, the bucket will also be used to trim the slope of the ridge to make it more regular. For example, in some paddy fields, good ridges can effectively prevent the leakage of irrigation water and keep the water level stable, which is conducive to the growth of rice and other crops.
IV. Farmhouse Foundation Excavation
Principle: The small excavator is able to excavate a pit suitable for the foundation construction of farmhouse. Its digging depth and precision can meet the requirements of the farmhouse foundation design, providing the foundation conditions for the solid construction of the farmhouse.
Operation process: When building a farmhouse near the farmland, it is necessary to excavate the foundation pit first. The small excavator will determine the location and size of the foundation pit according to the design drawings of the farmhouse. Then, excavation will be carried out at the selected location to dig the soil to the specified depth and clean the bottom of the foundation pit. If hard soil or rock layers are encountered, suitable buckets can also be replaced or accessory tools such as crushing hammers can be used to break up the excavation to ensure that the quality and dimensions of the foundation pit meet the requirements.
V. Assisting in the installation of agricultural facilities
Principle: With its digging and lifting capacity, the small excavator can help to carry and install the foundation parts or heavier components of some agricultural facilities.
Operation process: for example, in the installation of large greenhouse skeleton, small excavator can be the skeleton of the steel frame part of the transport to the installation position, and through the bucket lifting function will be erected steel frame, assisting workers to install. When installing the main pipe of the irrigation equipment, the small excavator can dig the trench for pipeline laying, and adjust the position and slope of the pipeline through the bucket during the pipeline laying process to ensure the normal operation of the irrigation system.
