Concrete mixing and transport
The mixer truck is one of the most central equipment in construction works. It can fully mix raw materials such as cement, sand, stone and water in a certain proportion in the mixing cylinder inside the vehicle to make concrete that meets the requirements of the project. The well-mixed concrete can be directly transported to various construction parts of the building site, such as the pouring site of the foundation, columns, beams and floor slabs of the building. For example, in the construction of high-rise buildings, the mixer truck transports the concrete from the mixing station to the tower crane or pump truck at the construction site, and then these equipments transport the concrete to the high construction position for pouring.
Its transport efficiency is high, which can ensure that the concrete arrives at the construction site before the initial setting and ensure the quality of concrete. Moreover, the mixer truck can flexibly arrange the transport route and time according to the progress and demand of the project to meet the concrete supply requirements at different construction stages.
Construction material mixing
Besides concrete, mixer trucks can also be used for mixing other construction materials. For example, when paving roads, mixer trucks can mix asphalt, stone, filler and other materials into asphalt concrete. This material has good water resistance and durability and is suitable for paving the surface layer of roads. When making mortar, mixer trucks can also mix cement, sand and water into various proportions of mortar for walling, plastering and other building construction operations.
Construction site material dumping
In large-scale construction sites, mixer trucks can be used as a tool for dumping materials. For example, it can transport the mixed mortar from one centralised mixing point to several different construction floors or areas, or transport some granular construction materials (e.g. sand and gravel) from the yard to the inlet of the construction equipment. Its flexibility and large capacity make the material dumping work more efficient.

Bridge and Tunnel Construction
In bridge construction, mixer trucks provide raw materials for concrete pouring for structures such as piers, abutments and bridge decks. As the bridge structure requires high quality concrete, the mixer truck’s precise mixing function can ensure that the strength and durability of the concrete meets the design standards. For tunnelling, the mixer trucks transport the concrete to the lining areas within the tunnels. In complex environments such as mountain tunnels or underwater tunnels, the mobility advantage of the mixer truck is even more obvious, as it can operate in narrow tunnels or near tunnel mouths.
Water conservancy construction
Water conservancy dams, canals, sluices and other projects require a large amount of concrete to build the main structure. The mixer truck undertakes the task of concrete production and transport in these projects. For example, in the process of dam pouring, the mixer truck transports concrete from the mixing station along the construction road of the dam to different heights and parts of the dam for pouring. At the same time, in the water conservancy project in the slope protection, seepage control and other ancillary structure construction, mixer trucks also play an important role in the supply of materials.
Third, the field of renovation and repair works
Small building repair
In the process of house decoration and small building repair, the mixer truck can be used to mix a small amount of concrete or mortar. For example, when repairing the floor and wall of a house, or constructing small outbuildings (such as pavilions in gardens, garages, etc.), the mixer trucks can mix the right materials according to the amount needed to avoid material wastage.
Maintenance of Municipal Facilities
For municipal facilities in the city, such as pavement tile replacement and roadside flower bed repair, the mixer truck can transport the mixed material to the construction site. It is able to flexibly travel through narrow streets and complex traffic environments in cities, supporting the rapid repair of municipal facilities.
